Companies like Boston Dynamics have developed a variety of body enhancement devices that can be used in factories or on the battlefield.
We have seen a proliferation of smart devices and smart wearable devices. New applications include the use of these wearable devices to improve the safety of workers in the mining industry. In other industries such as retail and travel, wearable devices can be used to increase worker productivity and improve human capabilities.
5. Transparency and Traceability
Consumers who are increasingly aware that their personal information is valuable demand control. Many people have realized that the risk of protecting and managing personal data is increasing. Also, governments are implementing strict legislation to ensure that it can be done. Transparency and traceability are key elements to support these digital ethics and privacy needs.
In the next few years, the world may issue more regulations similar to the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For some people, this is one of the 10 trending technology that they want to avoid.

The demand for interpretable AI and AI governance is growing. This trend requires attention to these key elements of trust: integrity, openness, accountability, ability, and consistency.
6. Edge Computing
Edge computing is a computing topology in which information processing and content collection and delivery are located near the source of this information, the repository, and consumers. This can reduce the waiting time, and can achieve a certain degree of autonomy on these edge devices. Edge computing stems from the need for IoT systems to deliver disconnected or distributed functions to the embedded IoT world.
Brian Burke from Gartner said, “Edge computing will be the dominant factor in almost all industries and use cases, because the edge will be supported by increasingly advanced and professional computing resources and more data storage. Complex edge devices, including robots, drones, self-driving cars, and operating systems will accelerate this transformation. “
This will expand the role of devices as the basis for smart spaces and bring critical applications and services closer to the people and devices that use them.
7. Distributed Cloud
A distributed cloud is the migration method of the cloud. Most people think that the cloud is location independent, it is there; it is somewhere. But now with distributed clouds, the physical location of these data centers is becoming increasingly important. Solving regulatory issues and delays and things like that are becoming more and more important.
Now, the cloud has expanded its territory and become a distributed cloud, that is, public cloud services are distributed to different locations, and the original public cloud provider is responsible for service operation, governance, update and evolution. This represents a major shift from the centralized model of most public cloud services and will lead to a new era of cloud computing.
8. Autonomous Things
Autonomous objects are physical devices that use artificial intelligence to automate functions previously performed by humans. Currently the most recognizable forms of autonomous things are robots, drones, autonomous vehicles, and electrical appliances. The automation of these things goes beyond the automation provided by the rigid programming model. They use AI to provide high-level behaviors to interact more naturally with their environment and people.

9. Cryptocurrency and Practical Blockchain

He said: “Despite these challenges, the huge potential for disruption and revenue generation means that organizations should start evaluating blockchains even if they do not expect to actively adopt the technology in the short term.

10. AI Security
Evolving technologies such as ultra-automation have shown how the real digital transformation is changing in the business world. However, these technologies also create security holes through potential new attack points. Future AI security will have three key aspects: 1) protect AI-driven systems, secure AI training data, and trained pipelines and machine learning models; 2) use AI to enhance security defense capabilities and use machine learning to understand Mode, discover attacks and automatically execute some network security processes; 3) Whether an attacker is expected to use AI- to identify and defend against attacks.
